Numbers 11 to 20

After 10 comes 11 — all the way to 20. These are the "teen" numbers!

Once we reach 10, we keep going! The numbers 11 through 20 are called the "teen" numbers. Each of them has a ten hiding inside, plus a few extras.

💡

10 + 1 = 11 · 10 + 2 = 12 · 10 + 3 = 13 · 10 + 4 = 14 · 10 + 5 = 15

13 — Thirteen (10 + 3)
14 — Fourteen (10 + 4)
15 — Fifteen (10 + 5)
16 — Sixteen (10 + 6)
17 — Seventeen (10 + 7)
18 — Eighteen (10 + 8)
19 — Nineteen (10 + 9)
20 — Twenty (10 + 10)
✏️ Try It!
