  14. A quadrilateral is ANY shape with:4 sides. Quadrilateral = any closed 2D shape with exactly 4 sides. It is the BROADEST category.
  15. Does a rhombus belong to the parallelogram category?Yes — a rhombus has 2 pairs of parallel sides. A rhombus has 4 equal sides AND 2 pairs of parallel sides — so YES, it is a parallelogram!
  16. If a shape is a square, which other categories does it ALSO belong to?Rectangle, parallelogram, trapezoid, quadrilateral. A square belongs to ALL of: rectangle (4 right angles), parallelogram (2 pairs parallel), trapezoid (at least 1 pair parallel), quadrilateral (4 sides).
